THE LUJU CULINARY EXPERIENCE: AN ODE TO NGUNI FOODWAYS

This year’s Luju culinary theme, ‘Nguni Foodways’, explores the rich heritage of the Nguni people as custodians of innovation and cultural memory rooted in land, livestock and indigenous knowledge.

KWASUKASUKELA (ONCE UPON A TIME): FASHION AS A PORTAL TO STORYTELLING

Kwasukasukela, the siSwati expression for “Once Upon a Time” is a nostalgic prelude to folktales told around the fire. As a tribute to imagination shaped by heritage, it invites us on a journey back to the roots of African storytelling.
