The Standard Bank Luju Food & Lifestyle Festival is a two-day lavish feast of music, fashion, entertainment, culinary exploits, and connoisseur-led premium wine and whiskey showcases. A unique and sophisticated African-vintage styled celebration of the local, the wholesome, the creative, and the delicious, the festival is a sensory experience unlike any other. This is an aspirational event in an intimate setting, where foodies, culture buffs and travelers alike can interact with a range of lifestyle activations currently trending within the context of music, food, fashion and health.
The festival will be taking place from Friday 2nd August to Saturday 3rd August 2024, on the House On Fire lawns overlooking the scenic Malkerns Valley in Eswatini. The venue is located about a 5-hour drive from Johannesburg, South Africa, and is 23km from the capital city, Mbabane, as well as a short 14km drive from Ezulwini.

Children under 12 need to be accompanied by an adult. Children aged 0 – 5 can enter the festival for FREE. Children aged 6 – 12 have to purchase the Full Festival Children ticket. Children aged 12 and under are only allowed into the Premium Lounge if they are in the company of an adult who has a Premium Lounge pass.

Please email communications@house-on-fire.com with requests for media accreditation. Media practitioners will need to fill out a form from the Ministry of Information, Communications and Technology before the festival can accredit media. Please note that media accreditations are made solely through the festival Communications department, including broadcast technicians. Only working media will be accredited; drivers, marketing officers and similar will not be accredited as media. Bloggers, Vloggers and other social media content producers are encouraged to register with us as well, if they wish to conduct interviews etc. Please note that media passes do not give back-stage access. Interviews can be arranged through the Luju Communications team by prior arrangement.
Tickets are available on the Luju website: www.lujufestival.com and at selected outlets in Eswatini, at Standard Bank Mbabane (Corporate Place), and Standard Bank branches in Ezulwini (the Gables), Manzini (opposite Bhunu Mall) and DALA Spaces at Malandela’s Lifestyle/House On Fire. Tickets are also available in Maputo, Mozambique, at the Centro Cultural Moçambicano-Alemão (CCMA), Av. Samora Machel, n.468, R. da Rádio.
In Eswatini, Luju tickets can now be purchased with the Unayo stand-alone banking app developed by Standard Bank, via WhatsApp.

The Standard Bank Luju Food & Lifestyle Festival does not offer ticket refunds. However, our ticket service provider, Howler, offers third-party refunds in certain circumstances. Please contact support@howler.co.za if you have queries.
Tickets only allow access to the festival. Premium Lounge tickets additionally allow access to the Premium Lounge.
The Luju Gardens ticket option provides access to the main festival arena, with all the Luju experiences, and standing room in front of the Luju Stage. In addition to main arena access, Premium Lounge tickets offer exclusive access to the Standard Bank Premium Lounge, with comfortable seating, a private bar, dedicated wait service, and excellent views of the Luju Stage.
Phase 1 is a limited-release batch of discounted tickets which are a sweet reward for the early bees! Phase 2 tickets go on sale when the number of tickets allocated to Phase 1 run out.
Yes. If you have downloaded your ticket, you can simply email it to whomever you want to give it to. If you have a hardcopy ticket, you can give that to your friend. However, be aware of the security risks!
The unique QR-code on your e-ticket allows you to enter the festival. NEVER reveal your QR-code or give anyone the opportunity to copy/photograph it. Only the first scanned ticket will be let in the gate. For this reason, it is strongly recommended that you do not buy tickets from 3rd parties, as there is no guarantee they have not already sold the same QR-code multiple times
All tickets are non-refundable and non-replaceable. One ticket per person. Once purchased, please keep your tickets in a safe place and remember to bring them with you to the festival. Each ticket holder must be present when exchanging tickets for wristbands at Festival Check-in. An individual will not be able to receive wristbands for other ticket holders not present. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
A platform which uses NFC technology on your wristband, to transact at the festival. You simply load money (via cash or credit card) onto your wristband at various top-up points and then you simply tap and go at all food and beverage stands.
Yes. Visit www.howler.co.za and click on “Wallet” tab. Pre-loading your wristband becomes available as soon as tickets go on sale.

Tap your wristband against any trader’s mobile device, at any of the festival’s bars, or traders to instantly complete your transaction. Your cashless balance will reflect on the trader’s mobile device once the transaction is complete.

No worries, you can cash out online on to your bank account. Sign up at www.howler.co.za and click Cash-out within the “Wallet” tab. You will be able pair your wristband using the number printed on the back so make sure you keep your wristband after the festival.
Yes, you are able to enable automatic cash-out on your howler account. Visit https://www.howler.co.za/cashless_tags, click the drop down next to AUTO CASHOUT, click SET UP AUTO CASHOUT, thereafter you will be prompted to fill in your banking details and click SAVE.
It can take up to 14 days to process the cash-outs.
The organizers reserve the right to refuse admission to the festival site at any time.
Any bags brought into the event will be searched upon entry.
The following items are prohibited and will not be allowed into the venue:
Weapons, explosives, firearms, glass bottles, aluminium cans, hazardous and breakable materials, fireworks, lasers, flashlights and anything else that can interfere with the artists’ performance.
No camping gear of any kind will be allowed into the festival venue. They are allowed in the campsite with a valid camping ticket.
No illegal drugs of any kind allowed in the festival or campsites. You may be prosecuted.
No drinking of alcohol outside the festival entrance or in the parking lot. You may be prosecuted.
PLEASE NOTE: You may NOT bring your own food or beverages into the festival arena.
No animals, including pets, may be brought into the festival. If you have a registered service animal, please contact the Luju Team so that we may accommodate you.
Yes! You’ll be able to get your fill of all kinds of scrumptious, healthy foods suitable for all types of diets for the duration of the festival.
No. Food and drinks are not allowed to be brought into the festival. There is a wide range of food and beverage options available for purchase at the festival.
You may only take pictures on cameras meant for personal use. Professional DSLR, recording devices, and video equipment that has not been pre-approved will not be allowed into the festival grounds. At the artists’ request, all unauthorized recording for professional purposes will be prohibited and illegal filming and/or recording will result in legal actions. It is not permissible to use flashes when taking photos of performers on stage as it is disturbing to them. There are no other restrictions on flashes.
By participating in the Standard Bank Food and Lifestyle Festival, you consent to interview(s), photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, web casts, promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, inclusion on web sites, or for any other purpose(s) that LUJU PTY LTD, its vendors, partners, affiliates and/or representatives deems fit to use. You release Standard Bank LUJU Board, its officers and employees, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitising or publication of interviews, photographs, computer images, video and/or sound recordings.
By entering the event premises, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any exhibition, streaming, webcasting, televising, or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such exhibiting, broadcasting, webcasting, or other publication irrespective of whether a fee for admission or sponsorship is charged. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by Standard Bank LUJU or the person or entity designated to do so by LUJU PTY Ltd. By purchasing a Standard Bank Luju Festival ticket or entering the premises, you have been fully informed of your consent, waiver of liability, and release before participating in Standard Bank LUJU Festival.
By attending the festival, you assume all risks incidental to the event and release event management and their respective affiliates from all claims related to or arising out of the event or your presence at the event. The ticket you hold is subject to all applicable policies of the management of the event. This ticket is a revocable license to enter the event at the date and time listed on the front. What that means is that management reserves the right, without paying a refund, to refuse entry or eject you if you are not complying with all management policies applicable to the event.
The Event date and time is subject to change. Resale and/or transfer of the ticket may be prohibited by Management’s policies, and if so, any such resale and/or transfer is void to the maximum extent allowed by applicable laws. Any such unauthorized resale and/or transfer may result in refusal of entry without refund. Tickets not obtained directly from Management may be lost, stolen, counterfeit or invalid, in which case they will not be honoured.
