Your Journey to A Return to the African Future Starts Here

In just a few days, more than 10,000 festivalgoers from over 26 countries will gather at the iconic House On Fire in the Malkerns Valley for the 8th edition of the Standard Bank Luju Food & Lifestyle Festival. Before you set off to #EatSwayLove, take a few moments to download the:

Official Luju Festival Survival Guide.

Designed to help you plan your journey, the guide contains everything you need to know before arriving at the festival. From travel routes and accommodation options to border requirements, parking, transport, and festival logistics, it is your essential companion for the weekend. Festivalgoers travelling from outside Eswatini are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the border checklist, including passport and visa requirements, health documentation, customs regulations, and border operating hours before departing.

To make your arrival as smooth as possible, early wristband collection will take place on Friday, 31 July, from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM at the Main Gates (Containers) at House On Fire. Remember that no tickets will be sold at the gate, and all complimentary tickets must be registered through Howler before arriving. The festival also operates on a fully cashless wristband system, allowing you to preload funds before the event or top up on site.

Festival gates open at 10:00 AM on both Saturday, 1 August and Sunday, 2 August, with entry closing one hour before the daily cut-off. Arriving early will give you plenty of time to park, collect your wristband if required, and settle into the full #EatSwayLove experience.

Download the Official Luju Festival Survival Guide below and arrive prepared for a weekend of exceptional food, fashion, music and culture as we celebrate A Return to the African Future.
