Trader Applications for the Standard Bank Luju Food & Lifestyle Festival are now open.
The festival will take place at House On Fire, in Eswatini’s scenic Malkerns Valley, from 1-2 August, 2025,
Applications are open for food traders, fashion and beauty traders, children’s food and activities, as well as experiential services.

Experienced vendors specialising in food and fashion, as well as children’s products, services and activities, are invited to apply for the opportunity to trade in the festival’s Culinary, Fashion and children’s Bee Hive spaces.
Applicants will be assessed on the basis of their product quality, uniqueness, experience, clean and professional set-up as well as high quality customer service. Traders will also need to incorporate the Luju 2025 themes into their products and services.

“A Return to the African Future” pays homage to and celebrates Africa’s beauty and style, from the past to the present and onwards to the future. It’s a journey of the senses, a re-imagining of our heritage, and an expression of the continent’s elegance and sophistication
“The Forgotten Seeds” explores the potential of ancient seeds and indigenous food production practices as a foundation for a sustainable future. their role in fostering economic empowerment through seed capital, and their transformative potential in culinary arts
“Threads of Time” – makes reference to the rich tapestry of African cultural wisdom as expressed through the evolution of African textiles, fashion and adornment over the years.
This theme encourages traders and festivalgoers to explore the history, materials, inspiration and storytelling behind African craft products, leading to culturally significant and sustainable fashion.
Trading environments – Luju Food Garden, Luju Fashion Café, Luju Bee Hive, Experiential services ….
The LUJU Food Garden is the pulse of the festival. It welcomes speciality vendors that offer a delectable range of authentic, culturally diverse flavours.
The LUJU Fashion Café will be showcasing the best of Eswatini Design, Beauty and Fashion in the Fashion Café Marketplace (beauty, accessories, jewellery, fashion, homeware.
The kids-oriented LUJU Bee Hive welcomes vendors looking to provide exciting and engaging entertainment and food for children up to the age of 16.
Experiential Services applications are available for traders looking to enhance the festival experience for our guests. Clearly outlined service plans must be shared.
Final trader selection will be made by Friday 11 July 2025. Due to the volume of applications, only successful applicants will be contacted.
Applicants are encouraged to note that the Standard Bank Luju Food & Lifestyle Festival is a 100% cashless environment, using NFC chips on festival wristbands for transactions. Luju is committed to being a sustainable event and all traders are required to use eco-friendly packaging.

The Standard Bank Luju Food & Lifestyle Festival comprises a wholesome variety of environments called Hives. Each Hive offers opportunities for unique experiences. The Culinary Hive is the festival’s food environment which features pop-up food stations that support drinks pairing, tastings and specialised demonstrations by renowned chefs and connoisseurs.
The fashion environments are expressed through the official festival fashion hive, the Fashion Café. It also features Fashion Shows and Best Dressed Activations.
