With a growing interest in conscious healthy diets, Roots showcases plant-based diets and innovative dishes that celebrate food from the soil, particularly embracing heritage plants that have been home staples for centuries. Culinary Hives include a beer garden, premium lounge, wine saloon, taste of Africa, cocktail lounge and a Heritage Food Garden. Vendors are encouraged to serve dishes that are unique, visually attractive and consistently tasty. An understanding of gastronomy and experience in food trading is essential.

This year’s Fashion Hive theme is ‘Afrofuturism.
